Home / Consolidation and shipping
Buying several products from different suppliers does not need to mean receiving a separate shipment from each one. Jabbar Sourcing coordinates warehousing, consolidation and international shipping for wholesale buyers. Goods are gathered in Yiwu, checked against the order and prepared for a combined shipment. This checklist explains what to organize before requesting a shipping quotation.
1. Build one list for the whole shipment
Give each product a consistent reference across supplier quotations, packing details and inspection updates. Keep pieces and cartons in separate columns: a quantity of 200 pieces is not the same as 200 cartons. For products with several colors or sizes, list the variations clearly.
- Product reference, supplier and requested quantity.
- Pieces per carton and total carton count.
- Outer carton length, width and height, with units.
- Weight per carton, stating the weight unit.
- Destination country, city and delivery requirements.
- Required labels, packing instructions and target timing.
If details are not yet confirmed, mark them as estimates. Keeping unknown values visible is more useful than treating a rough measurement as final shipping data.
2. Estimate volume before choosing a shipment plan
The CBM calculator accepts manual carton dimensions or an Excel order sheet. Check that the units and column mappings match your source data. Review the totals before using them in an inquiry, especially when suppliers describe quantity differently.
The quick estimate uses a 5% volume buffer and a 68 CBM planning capacity for a 40HQ container. It is a planning aid, not a confirmed loading or freight quotation. Carton shape, packing and weight still need review. Share the actual carton information with the team so the shipment can be assessed against the goods you intend to send.
3. Confirm goods and packing before dispatch
Goods from different suppliers gather at the warehouse before consolidation. Confirm the order quantities, product variations, packaging and carton markings. Our inspection checklist explains how to prepare specifications and review the photo and video updates sent by the specialist.
Flag discrepancies before approving the next step. Keep a final product list and the agreed packing details together so the shipment information remains consistent when the team coordinates freight and documents.
4. Review the quote and timing assumptions
Each quotation lists product, inspection, warehousing, packing and logistics costs. We do not add a separate buyer commission; compensation may be a clearly stated supply-chain service fee or a supplier-side cooperation margin included in the quote. No hidden fees are added after you confirm the quote. Ask which delivery steps and destination charges are included before accepting it.
Consolidated container orders start from USD 10,000. Our service focuses on wholesale sourcing and FCL/LCL shipping, not one-piece dropshipping. Transit timing depends on the destination and routing; discuss your target date and the current shipping options instead of treating a general estimate as a delivery guarantee.
